Coastal Walk – Llangranog
As it was a lovely sunny day on Sunday we decided to take a walk so we headed off to the coast. Parking at the free car park in Llangranog we headed up the road and through a lovely woodland filled with wild garlic before passing by the hill fort of Pen y Badell then heading out to the coastal path with views over Ynys Lochtyn.
On our walk the headland was full of Thrift or Sea Pinks but also keep an eye out for grey seals and dolphins when you are walking along the coastal path. We then headed down into Llangranog for a well deserved yummy homemade ice cream from the cafe on the beach front.
The circular walk we did is 3 1/4 miles. If you are staying in our cottages you will find the walk in the Jarrold Ceredigion Walks book (No 8)
